ID Badge Information

All AJHS students have a school-issued badge and lanyard. New students typically receive a badge within a few days of enrolling. Students are required to wear their badge at all times when on campus except when participating in PE. Badges are very important at AJHS as they provide students access to our buildings, have barcodes for lunch, library, and more, and are now also used to board our buses. Please note the following details about badges, which is always available by searching "badge" on ParentSquare or checking our website under the "Resources" tab. Additional information about library policies is in the student handbook.

• The library is open 7:50-8:15 for students to come by if you have a question or need a replacement badge. If you have a zero period or ride a late bus come on in and we'll let your 1st block teacher know you're here so you're not tardy.

• If your ID badge stops working on doors and buses and is not physically damaged, then we are happy to provide a replacement. Please come by 7:50-8:15. Damage includes bending the badge, cutting or hole punching it, chewing the corners, or any other visible damage.
• If your badge is damaged or lost, replacements are $6. Please purchase a replacement on My School Bucks or bring exactly $6 to the library 7:50-8:15. If purchased on MSB we will deliver the badge to your class when it is ready.
• You can come by the library anytime and ask Ms. Neloms or Mrs. Rainer if you just need a new plastic sleeve or lanyard string for your badge.
• You can only have one working badge at a time. If you buy a new badge the old one is marked as LOST and will not work on doors and buses. Please do not use LOST badges.
• Badges work 7:50-3:50. They will not open doors outside those hours.
