AHS Summer Drivers Ed

Sign Up Information

Summer Drivers Ed Schedule

Classroom Phase
JUNE 1-4, 10 AM – 2 PM
AHS CAFÉ
Students must be present every day to receive credit

Driving Phase
Students must complete three days of driving.
The driving phase will be scheduled in class using signup genius.
Instructors will work around vacations, work, camps, etc
This is a 7-day commitment for students.

Prerequisites/Requirements
According to ASLDE requirements, students must be 15 years old in order to take driver's education. Only students who will be 15 prior to the beginning of the classroom phase are eligible to take summer driver's ed.
According to AHS policy, this class is for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders only.

How to Sign Up

Sign Ups will be through MySchoolBucks only.
The link on MySchoolBucks will become active on Wednesday, February 18 at 6 p.m.
We recommend using a computer, not a phone, to access it and if it says unavailable, refresh the page often.

The class is labeled as Summer Driver Education – June 1 - 4, 2026 and will not be available until 6 p.m.

There are 192 spots available.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE OFFERED
